Scholarship Fund Rummage Sale: June 19th
The annual VWC Rummage Sale is coming up on June 19 and it is time to begin collecting your finest rummage for us to sell. Check those closets, scan the garage, look under the beds. We need gently used housewares, games, tools, electronics, luggage, decorative items, etc. (Please, no books or clothing). We'll take furniture as long as it is not too heavy and can be carried by two women!

The Sale will be from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 19th at 12788 Highway 9, Boulder Creek (corner of Highway 9 and Flat Street). Hilary Stanley coordinates the event and will begin accepting your donations on Saturday, June 5th. Call her to make drop-off arrangements: 338-2247.

The VWC gives scholarships each year to graduating SLV high school seniors who are planning to attend Cabrillo College in the fall. Funds are raised for these awards through the Rummage Sale and by donations to the Scholarship Fund. We wish to thank everyone who has contributed to the Fund, especially the following very generous donors: Jacquie Baker, Julie Hendriks, and Geri Zaballos.

Your donations are currently hard at work supporting two young women who are completing their first year at Cabrillo: Annalise Anderson is preparing for a career in Physical Therapy and Paige Combs is an English major.

Donations to the Scholarship Fund may be made to Valley Women's Club Scholarship Fund and sent to P.O. Box 574, Ben Lomond, CA 95005.
