Former SLV High School star Samantha Lipperd of Boulder Creek was named Pitcher of the Week by the California Collegiate Athletic Association after winning three games for the Seawolves including a no-hitter against Notre Dame de Namur.
In three appearances, Lipperd has a 3-0 record and a 1.50 earned run average over 14 innings of work.
Sonoma State is 4-2 in pre-season and opens conference play this weekend.
