SLV Students and Rotary Host Dinner, Auction

The San Lorenzo Valley Rotary Club and Students from the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District are partnering to raise money for Haitian earthquake victims.

Rotarians and students are hoping to buy 'ShelterBoxes,' which contain a tent, cook stove, water purification tablets and other essentials, to donate to the Caribbean nation.


A pasta dinner to raise money will be 5-8 p.m. March 24 at Zayante Fire Station, 7700 East Zayante Road, Felton. Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $5 for students and $15 for a family, available at schools and markets in the San Lorenzo Valley.

Diners also can participate in a raffle and silent auction.
