Responses to mailed census forms from the San Lorenzo Valley seem to be running below the national average. Response rates thus far, nationwide are running at 16% and Santa Cruz County overall is at about 18%. There is a nifty interactive map that is being used to track response rates from across the country. At the moment I looked a small city in Iowa had a 72% response rate so far which was tops in the nation. Areas around Felton, Ben Lomond, Brookdale and Boulder Creek showed an 11% response rate as of 3/24.
