Felton's Daniel Cunha - Lifesaver

86-Year-Old Will Reach 40-Gallon Mark on Feb. 19th

Daniel Cunha of Felton CA has donated 319 pints of blood to the Red Cross. The average person has 10 to 12 pints of blood in their body, which means Cunha’s total donation equals the amount of blood in approximately 26 people.

“I’m sure people really need it, and I got it,” he said.

The Felton Community Blood Drive takes place every month at First Presbyterian Church (6090 Highway 9) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Prospective donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment.
